DT-ITS Plastic Cup Pirates in Szeged (video)

As in May, the DT-ITS Plastic Cup Pirates will again take to the water in October to help clean up the floodplain of Lake Tisza.

The idea of the Plastic Cup Pirates Volunteer Day was initiated by the DT-ITS Green Activist Community two years ago and since then, colleagues have been collecting annually, together with the experienced pirates of the Plastic Cup.

During the spring campaign, a total of 1.2 tonnes of waste, i.e. 203 bags, were collected by the enthusiastic colleagues: 14 bags of glass, 64 bags of selective and 125 bags of municipal waste. Three quarters of the plastic waste was immediately sorted by our colleagues.
